Description
Baskerville Ultra Muzzle - The World's Best Muzzle
The patented Baskerville Ultra Muzzle was designed by Dr Roger Mugford to protect against bites but not at the expense of a dogs welfare or happiness.
How Secure is The Baskerville Ultra Muzzle?
Very! The ergonomically designed safety strapping ensures the muzzle will always remain securely in place and features two additional points of secure attachment. The loop at the bottom attaches to your dog’s regular collar and there is an optional, removable over-head safety strap. A secure metal buckle with pre-holed webbing ensures it is fully adjustable and quick and easy to fit.
Why Use A Muzzle and How to Measure Correctly
Dogs wear muzzles for many reasons including inappropriate or aggressive behaviour towards other dogs or people, and to discourage them from licking wounds. Whatever the reason, it is important that the dog is happy and comfortable wearing a muzzle so that training can take place to resolve his problem.
How do I measure my dog?
Measuring your dog for a new Baskerville Ultra Muzzle is easy but you will need to take two measurements: First - measure from the very end of your dogs nose along the bridge of their nose to just below the point between their eyes. It is best to imagine where the muzzle would sit when they would be wearing it. As a rule of thumb it is best to add approximately a quarter of an inch as you do not want the muzzle to be pressing right up against your dogs nose.
The second measurement you need to take is the circumference of your dogs nose, around the widest part. Again once you have this measurement it is a good rule of thumb to add another half an inch, to allow for movement.
Sizing is important so please make sure you measure your dog carefully, to ensure the correct size is purchased.
I love pets! thanks for sharing this wonderful information.
